This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment.
Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.
In cask, Discovery is 3.9% ABV, while in bottles the strength is 4.5% ABV.
Discovery tastes great served chilled, and its light, refreshing character makes it a perfect accompaniment to many foods.

An okay blonde. Yellow and clear. Malty and moderately dry. Nice biscuit and a hint of citrus. Tried for the first time in 2010 and only now getting to the rating.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2017 Cask at The Dove, Hammersmith. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is mostly sweet and malty, bread, biscuit, caramel and perhaps hint of citrus. The taste is pretty sweet, minimal bitterness, honey, caramel, bread, biscuit, toasty grain and sweet lemon with a short, dryish finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation.A pretty forgettable golden ale which errs on being too sweet. The most so - so of Fullers standard range imo.

Served in a pint glass A: golden, clear, small head, decent retention. S: hoppy, grapefruit. T: fairly sweet, light citrus, wheaty bitter finish provides balance. M: smooth, crisp, light. O: a proper session beer, subtle flavours keep you interested and provide depth but abv won’t cause problems.
