3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
A good session beer. Very drinkable. Golden in colour, nice light hoppy aroma, slight honey on the palate.
An okay blonde. Yellow and clear. Malty and moderately dry. Nice biscuit and a hint of citrus. Tried for the first time in 2010 and only now getting to the rating. Scopey (16236) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2017
UPDATED: APR 19, 2017 Cask at The Dove, Hammersmith. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is mostly sweet and malty, bread, biscuit, caramel and perhaps hint of citrus. The taste is pretty sweet, minimal bitterness, honey, caramel, bread, biscuit, toasty grain and sweet lemon with a short, dryish finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation.A pretty forgettable golden ale which errs on being too sweet. The most so - so of Fullers standard range imo. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 25, 2015

A: golden, clear, small head, decent retention.
S: hoppy, grapefruit.
T: fairly sweet, light citrus, wheaty bitter finish provides balance.
M: smooth, crisp, light.
O: a proper session beer, subtle flavours keep you interested and provide depth but abv won’t cause problems. dnicolaescu (2787) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - AUG 27, 2013

Had on cask at the head of the river in Oxford. It was served fairly warm. Pale yellow. Very dry. Slight hop aroma. Not a bad beer.
