COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle: Filtered
Frontier is hand-crafted over 42 days combining the best of old world malts and 168 years of brewing knowledge with new world brewing techniques and hops. The blend of powerful new world hops and the distinctive Fuller’s yeast that is brewed at a higher temperature allows a deeper and more robust flavour to flood out. The brew is then carefully lagered for five weeks to fully condition the beer and give it the full and interesting flavour that differentiates it from its peers. Allowing the flavour to develop over time, Frontier is unpasteurised yet filtered to deliver the clarity our consumers have asked for. These factors combined deliver the unique taste of Frontier.
The result is a memorable beer with citrus and spicy notes, a light fizzy body and a clean refreshing taste.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Slightly honey-ish malty nose with notes of lemon, bergamot, as well as mildly herbal and woody hoppy spice. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim and slightly doughy malty base with lemony, zesty fruity accents and herbal hops in the background; slim and moderately dry and slightly hop bitter finish with a fruity tail. 24.XI.16

Bouteille:Golden, clear, almost no head; dryish grainy nose with a mild, but distinctive herbal-lemony hoppy background; mild bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, not so soft;dry and lingering herbal-lemony - again - finish. O.K., but disappointing in comparison to other Fuller’s gems...

Tap at Ale and Pie, near Borough Market, London. Not very successfull brew. Nondescript aroma and classic macrobrew taste.

Beerclubsa (118) - Strand, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 29, 2016
330ml bottle from League of Beers. Pours a crystal clear gold with a loosely packed white head that recedes quickly. Aromas of honey malt and spicy/earthy hops with some berry notes. Palate has medium body and medium-low carbonation. Flavour is balanced between the sweet honey-like malt and earthy hops, with a very light hop bitterness on the dry finish. Nothing to write home about, but a well balanced, well made beer.

Aroma feels amazing, reveiling nice flowery hints, though it is only recognized in mouth not by nose. It highly lacks head that is typical for lagers, nontheless the colour is just what you want from a light in body summer beverage.
