Bottle from the Brewery Online Shop. Pours clear red copper with a thin beige head. Aromas of red fruit, caramel, dried fruit and toast. Taste is light sweet, more dried mixed peel, good balance of light bitterness on the finish. Faintly herbal too. Some cedar. Lots to chew on. gnoff (11145) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 16, 2009

500ml Bottle Sainsbury’s Kidlington 14-04-06. Dark amber, roasted nuts in what is a very poweful aroma. Very good malty (slightly sweet) beer. pivnizub (10906) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAY 7, 2006
Bottle: Reddish amber coloured, mid-sized, quite firm off-white head, visible carbonation; rich fruity (dryed fruit) aroma, a tinge of molasses, a touch of port and caramel; full bodied, rich sweet flavour; long lasting, warming bitter-fruity finish, becoming dry towards the end with a developing aromatic-hoppy aftertaste; well hidden alcohol. A very rich, complex brew, quite easy quaffable, from a first-class brewery ! leaparsons (10862) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2002
Golden, like it says on the label. This has a vinuous and spicy aroma. Flavours are of brown sugar, burnt toffee and a surpising hops bites. Powerful and delicous.

Big aroma of oranges, caramel, molasses, alcohol, dried fruits, and hops. Deep orange and amber color with a minimal but sturdy head. Sweet, caramel malts, with dried fruits, orange, cherry, a touch of tobacco, alcohol and just enough hops to keep it from cloying. Nice residual sugars, tasting like molasses. Nice balance, sweet but not overly so. Great winter warmer.

Bottle. Pours a beautiful deep rusty orange with a thick densely packed vanilla coloured head that leaves early delicate lace. Rich caramel aroma, slightly earthy, with hints of spicy fruit. Very malty palate, toast and toffee with quince and cherry fruit. Woody and spicy notes, mild bitterness. Full-bodied, chewy, with a pleasantly warming finish. Like a baby barley wine! Delicious! olio (10688) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 24, 2013

Clear deep orange to amber beer, big fizzy light beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, malty, sugar, red fruits syrup, bubble gum, honey. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet malty start, red fruit jam, sugary, some citrus, bitter hops, strawberry jam. Aftertaste: caramel, sweet malts, honey, red fruit jam, little bitter, some toast. I liked this beer a lot, my fellow tasting buddies did not.
Clear golden with a large off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and alcohol. Flavour went the same way. Somewhat boozy finish.
