COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mainly bottle conditioned; Special. Has been seen on cask.

This limited edition brew is a unique collaboration between brewery and beer writer. Melissa Cole brought her vast experience to the tasting table and helped us deliver a stout worth writing home about.

Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout has been specially created as a single brew. In a unique addition to the historic recipe, the floral character of the Centennial hops is enhanced by the inclusion of rose buds, lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. This Imperial Stout has a rich, dark appearance with strong chocolate and deep cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

(draught) deepest brown in colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of burnt toffee, roasted malts and fudge, with some notes of treebark, earth and liquorice. flavour is mostly udon noodles with soy sauce, roasted malts, cherry pips and earth, lots of umami, with a touch of oyster sauce in the light roasted-bitter finish. heavy-bodied with soft carbonation. interesting.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 Jet black with thin white head. Fantastic black treacle, liquorice and roasted malt aroma. Chewy chocolate, roasted malts with big hit of molasses character, lingering sweet liquorice finish - a champion beer

vinivini (3055) - Gomel, BELARUS - NOV 20, 2017
Opaque deep brown to black. One finger tall creamy beige head. Stays. Aroma: floral & peppery hops, esters, dark malts, some roasted barley. Full-bodied. Smooth mouth feel. Moderately sweet taste. Balanced roast & coffee, dried fruit, hops. No sign of the high alcohol content. Just warming. Nice choice for rating# 3000

@Stordirren 17-11-13: Mycket fin fyllighet och en len munnkänsla. Mycket stora toner av choklad, lakrits och torkad frukt. Mycket fin balans.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 500ml Bottle : £8 a bottle @ Waitrose today 12/11/2017 . i bought this stuff this moring, hungover , unsaven for the last three days and wearing an afc Wimbledon baseball cap backwards-bro ! I went to the store because I was looking for the lastest vintage year hoarding (thanks to member BeerViking for the forum heads up on this being realeased @ Waitrose ) and thought 'fuck it , get some of this too'. Rich nose -chocolate , oil , light roast : A decent sized khaki head above blacker than OBama blackness colour . this is quit an easy sipper , it's swillable and approcable , definitley not the most complex imperial stout i've ever consumed , but flavoursome ,straightfoard and fucken simplified .. Roasty bitter-sweet interaction .floral backdrop from the turkish delight textures . tHIS beer kinda coats your mouth in sweet chocolate aromatic bitterness , like MacBoost's neighbour Latoya's beaver sitting on your face.
