Bottle at Hell Hunt in Tallinn (€ 10). BB 2023. Full on black. Thick dark beigeish head. Drops rather quickly, leaving a thin layer. Really roasty, plums and balsamic sauce, only slightly alcoholic at first, more later on. Thick, sticky, sweet, light, grainy palate. Nettley herbal bitterness in the finish. It’s very good but far from being excellent. hrabren (1186) - Zagreb, CROATIA - SEP 13, 2015
Bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Thanks Vi?nja 666! Black with ruby tint, small to medium lasting tan head. Roasty, caramel, smoke, barrel, nuts, dry fruits, chocolate. Barrel aroma deeply present. Wood, nuts, heavily roasted, background hops. Alcohol well hidden, although present in the finish. Woody dryness. Medium to full body. DYCSoccer17 (3697) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 11, 2015
500mL bottle purchased at Viti in Vancouver, BC. The aroma on this is very nice with hints of molasses and vanilla extract. Some chocolate is also present as well as an oxidized envelope glue like note. Quite pleasant and very quaffable. Scantly transparent dark mahogany body present with a small, khaki-colored head. Starts with a hefty, full-bodied sweet roastiness with lots of dark chocolate. The middle has some wood and a little oxidation present. Finishes with a bit of an interesting almost saltiness. Could stand to have just a little more carbonation. Warming. Enjoyable. klm1 (1534) - Bled/SF, - SEP 3, 2015
Pours oily black opaque colour with creamy, stable brown head.
Aroma with mild noticable alcohol and with hints of chocolate, coffee and vanilla.
Flavor: alcohol is mild noticable, with strong note of coffee and chocolate, hints of vanilla, dried dark fruits.
Malt sweetness is medium, hop bitterness also ( esters of dark fruits and grapefruit).
Body is mouth-coating, carbonation is low.
Very proper imperial stout, made in modern english manire, but still somehow one-dimensional in comparison with very best examples of its style. SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - AUG 22, 2015
Bottle. Black with a large brown head. Nose has molasses, chalk, chocolate, roasted malt, light caramel. The flavour is more roasted that expected from the nose. Wood, vanilla, roasted malt, charcoal, cocoa, brown sugar. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Light salty, filling sweetness, balanced bitterness, warming alcohol. Good.

Pours black with a large off-white head.
Nose shows heavy roast, liquorice, soft booze, faint rose-like perfumous notes.
Falvours include dry roast and cocoa followed by some sweet chocolate liqueur and a subtle Turkish delight sweetness. KoNrRiI (1512) - Århus, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2015
0.5 bottle. Entirely black color and a medium, brownish head. Aroma of toasted malts, delicate saltiness, a powerful roast, and some chocolate. Taste is malty, roasty, chocolatey, contains hints of prunes, and some treacle - little to no coffee. Full body, thick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is long, bittersweet, malty, syrupy, follows the taste quite closely. Overall a splendid beer, its thick character and a relatively soft carbonation are the essence of a good stout. nordic (637) - Tartu, ESTONIA - JUL 31, 2015

Bottled 500ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Deep black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and roast in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, strong licorice and moderate to strong alcohol presence with notes of wood and pepper in rather roasty finish. Good but not great. ruigo (2948) - PORTUGAL - JUL 29, 2015
50cl bottle. Deep black colour with a thin tan head. Dark chocolate, molasses, roasted malts, liquorice and cherries in the aroma. Average to soft carbonation and full body. Taste is bittersweet, more bitter than sweet and with a long lasting taste of coffee and black chocolate. Quite balanced. Overall, a very good beer.
