At just on cool and into a Fuller’s pint. Looks good in the glass. Hazed over orange amber body, well conditioned and retaining of a loose, foamy, off-white crown. Herbaceous, floral and resinous whole hops on the nose; it oozes with ripe peach and apricot, pot pourri, sticky marmalade, vine clippings and a strange lick of sweet/sour sauce. A little caramel and fresh baked bread in there also. Quite a potent brew melding sticky and tangy citrus esters, bold toasted and biscuity rich malts and a backdrop of floral and herbal UK hops. A lasting bitterness on and into the swallow with a lot of residual fruit sugars reminiscent of candied orange, peach and apricot. Becomes nutty in the malt department late into drinking. The body forever meaty and chunky. Not exactly session stuff, but delicious none the less. A well made British IPA! (50cL, BB 28/06/13, Liquor Baron’s Ocean Reef)

Pours a thin head on a hazy straw body. Aroma is toffee, caramel and lemon zest. Nice. Taste is malty caramel with some mild grapefruit and lemon. Texture is softer. A great showcase of a maltier IPA.

Keg, Tap on the Line. Mid gold colour, thin white foam. Lighter malt base than something like Pride, hints of biscuit and a tad sweet. Hop flavour builds, spicy, orange, marmelade, a bit of earth. Medium bitterness. Rather balanced and pleasant.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2017 Birra dal color ramato. Schiuma bianca fine e persistente. All’ olfatto, frutti esotici, pesca e resina di pino.

Clear amber colour, medium sized frothy head. Sweetish malts. Floral notes, also toffee, hay, cooked vegetables with a hint of pine and butter. Palate is between light and medium, nicely carbonated.
