Creedence (315) - Montreal, Quebec, - NOV 21, 2013
500ml bottle enjoyed after work. Pours a very slightly hazy amber gold with an initially fluffy 2 finger white head that dissipates quickly to a patchy film and minimal lacing. Aroma is bizarre, slightly grassy, with a lot of celery, a hint of coriander and a tiny touch of strawberry. Taste is an initial light sweetness followed by a medium spicy bitterness. Finish is astringent slightly yeasty bitterness, lively carbonation, medium mouthfeel and not much of an aftertaste, but light spicy bitterness. A strange brew, weird mix of flavours. Not the best.

emincems (127) - TURKEY - NOV 29, 2017
It pours golden orange color with medium sized white head. Retention is average. No lacing. When you smell it you can easily realize this is British Ipa. Smell is herbal and floral hops with slightly toasted malts and low fruity esters. Taste is not intense as I expected. Balanced, not towards the hops. Low maltiness, low fruitiness and low-moderate hop bitterness. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Creamy on the palate. Dry finish. It's not a complex beer as I expected, but it can be good refresher on hot days.

Old english style, strong bitter. Excellent golding hop taste shaped by malty sweetness. Good aroma of earth and grass.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2017 Fin gennemsnitlig ipa.
