On Tap. Super dark with a thin white head. Strong bittersweet/dark chocolate aroma with heavy espresso notes. Flavor is dry and hoppy with a smooth bitter finish. Very nice. alafito (334) - tijuana, MEXICO - JUN 21, 2006
Best bottle ive seen. Pours completly flat but the light carbonation goes with the roasty chocolate and coffe. Very silky and full flavor. Im not a Porter fan but this is a classic. Best ive ever tried in its class gferd (99) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 21, 2006
While I am not usually a proter fan, I have to give the Fullers an A+. It has a beautiful aroma of chocolate and coffee. A very smooth taste and creamy head. kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - JUN 20, 2006
Bottle (Waitrose): Nice deep black with a long lasting light brown head. Strong aroma of chocolate, with some gentle roasty coffee like notes. Quite sweet in the start, with choc and toffee notes. Finishes dry and roast. Refreshing, moreish and simply a good damn beer. SoLan (1550) - Florida, USA - JUN 16, 2006
Best before December 15, 2006. Black. Modest, frothy, tan cap. Nose of toasted malt, cocoa powder, ground coffee, and cardboard or dry wood. Flavor adds smoke, ash, and subtle, bitter hops. Dry, roasty, bitter finish. Full/medium, balanced body. Excellent porter.

The colour is black/red with a thin, light brown head. Fresh aroma of milk, chocolate and alot of coffee. Malt, nougat and some sour cream and onion crisp(!). Smooth as hell. The flavour is very smooth, sweet and milky. Medium body. A pleasant taste of Coffe and chocolate. Hops. The bitternes kicks in at the exact right moment. The afterbitterness tastes of roasted coffeebeans. Some crisp bread in both the flavour and in the nose. A perfect porter. MarkBarnes (418) - Waterville, New York, USA - JUN 11, 2006
June 11, 2006, 16.9 oz. bottle. This scrumptious porter packs a wallop of flavor: rich, creamy dark cocoa & vanilla, offset by sturdy hops and pleasant bitterness. In a blind test, I could easily mistake this for a stout. Complex & satisfying, this is the "real deal." arbysauce (3) - Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, USA - JUN 10, 2006 does not count
Pours very dark with a cream colored head. Nice aroma, coffee flavors were most pronounced followed by chocolate and a hint of smoke. Excellent porter and will not hesitate to buy again. MacDaddyOJake (274) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 10, 2006
On tap at Penny Lane Pub in Richmond. An immensely dark brew with a thick creamy head that stays around for the whole experience. Taste was roasty, but not in your face. It finished with a nice creamy texture and the slightest bit of a hoppy finish. Great beer, but just a tad expensive.....
