A dark red almost black beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is fruity an slightly smokey. And the flavor is smokey but very mellow - nice but very mainstream for a porter. joergen (27982) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 8, 2005

Warning! Early amateur rating! Rich dark porter. Bitter at first but becomes savoury. Very drinkable.
Bottle courtesy of steptin, thanks! Deep, clear chestnut maroon, huge beig head with good retention. Aroma of chocolate covered raisins, like you used to get at the movies. Taste is dark cocoa, burnt espresso, prunes. Very nice.
