I enjoy this porter twice a year when I visit family and friends in England. A very good beer! Enjoy! Cheers tmdaines (144) - Stretford, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2017
Not sure I get the hype on this one. Flavour is not particularly complex, a dark roasted coffee but little. Palate is really good. Very low carbonation makes it smooth. Little nose. It's a good beer, but not one I would write home about. Pustelnik1 (13) - Nieuwegein, NETHERLANDS - NOV 17, 2017
Kawa, czekolada, karmel i trochę nut chlebowych w aromacie. W smaku sporo paloności, czekolada, kaswa, kakao. Jest lekki kawowy kwasek, trochę słodyczy, bardzo niska goryczka.
Bardzo wodniste i takie zwyczajne, proste... a mimo to bardzo fajnie i przy tym niesamowicie pijalne. SimonBlok (760) - GRONINGEN, NETHERLANDS - NOV 17, 2017
33cl bottle at home. Appearance: dark brown with medium, off-white head. Aroma: dark malts, butterscotch, caramel and chocolate. Taste: above medium sweetness and pretty high bitterness. Notes of dark malts, molasse, dark bread, chocolate and hops. Palate: medium bodied, oily texture and medium carbonation. MetalNHopHead (2182) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - NOV 14, 2017
English-style Porter is an oft-traveled road, and Fuller's London Porter was one of the breweries to pave that path. This brew is pretty, dark, and deep. Near-opaque brown pour. Caramel, toast, toffee, and milk chocolate character. Silky smooth, mildly bitter, and superbly balanced.

Poured into seidel.
L: Nice khaki head with little retention. Deep dark ruby brown.
S: A milky sweetness, roasted malt
T: Sweet dark malt, chocolate, roast, light hop spice.
F: Pretty smooth, dry finish
Pretty typical of a classic English porter. Good stuff. jobe977 (170) - Töreboda, SWEDEN - OCT 29, 2017
Can (5,4%) from Systembolaget. Black with no real head. Aroma is a mixture of coffee and chocolate. An ok taste, somewhat roasted. Decent finish. Classic Porter-style beer. Not the best, not the worst. Pleasant! thejackpacker (636) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2017
Bottle. I must say, I'm not sure I understand the hype. It is a decent porter, it is not very sweet, you can get the Fuggle hops in there and still that deep malty, sometimes smoky flavour as well as grassy caramel. But I think there are much smoother, more deep and flavourful porters out there. Bill Becker (1775) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 16, 2017

Served from the 18.6 oz bottle, best by date of Feb 14, 2005 so....I'll try to get a fresher sample next time(Have had fresh samples before) and do an update if needed.
Pours extremely dark brown with a medium sized head that shrunk until there was only a fine layer on the top. The smell was all coffee and chocolate to me.
The taste was the same as the smell only reinforced. Lovely malty, chocolaty, coffee thing going on that made drinking this a real pleasure. Time doesn't seem to have hurt this one too much at all.

A bottle from Jason's near NCCU, drunk at home. Aroma: caramel. Appearance: hazy cola, head dissipates to nothing. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, soft carbonation, sweet and flavoursome finish. Taste: medium sweet and bitter, lots of coffee, a bit of chocolate. Very nice beer.
