Bottle from maruhn. Pours clear Amber. Nose is toffee, dark dried fruit, wood. Palate is tart, bread, toffee, dark fruit. Long bitter finish. A nice bitter, but bitters are a bit boring in my opinion.

Bottle. Clear amber beer with small off-white head. Malts dominate the aroma: biscuit, caramel and toffee. Taste is moderate malty sweetness, caramel, biscuit, followed by light bitterness. Medium bodied. Bitterness is too low, but it is still enjoyable English bitter.

Bright copper color with a small foamy beige head that stays around well beyond the pour. Aroma is quite sweet gosh. Flavor is more sweet caramel malt that is balanced nicely by hops. Smooth, creamy and flavorful. With a light dry finish.

I was hoping for something like the Fuller’s ESB, but this is an average beer at best. Maybe the recipe or making process changed too much since it was include in the "500 Classic Brews" list, but it’s hard to notice something to be proud in this beer. At least Michael Jackson’s opinions grants this a second chance in the future.

Всё бы ничего. И аромат есть и вкус. Но всё портит отврати& привкус. Если в ESB он слегка портит общее впечатл& то тут он станови& чересчу& навязчи&
