33cl can. Poured a clear copper colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy toffee caramel malt, light fruitt, light yeasty, biscuit dough. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a crisp, dry, light earthy malt, light sweet fruit, light spice, light metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml can. Clear amber with a beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, toffee, caramel, just a hint of rye. Taste of toffee, caramel, rye, mild spicy/earthy notes, a little grainy, light citrus tang. Light-medium body, average carbonation. Ok.

Crap waste of money. To fizzy no aroma palate is nonexistent. Typical London rubbish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appreciated this. Good balanced rye ale, with some english roots. Good hop profile but the character is malty.

Half of keg on the Fullers brewery tour. A deep, dark reddish brown in the glass with a small head. The beer was thick in the mouth, with a sweetness that was not unpleasant. A nice beer that I would drink again, but not particularly memorable.

Can from Waitrose.
Appearance - copper witha nice fluffy head.
Nose - light red fruits, some earth and spice.
Taste - redcurrants and strawberries. Some shortbread.
Palate - close to medium bodied. Dry astringent finish.
Overall - disappointing for a Fullers beer.
