Draught at beerbistro. Pours a clear orange-amber with an average size lasting creamy white head. Mild aroma is malty with some light hops and fruit. Flavour has a surprising amount of hops, mostly in the finish, along with caramel malt and fruit. Nice bitter finish. Average bodied. You know what, I enjoyed this beer quite a bit, I’d easily quaff several pints of it. JFGrind (2074) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2009
I had this on draft @ Union Jack’s Glenside in honor of Philly Beer Week. Barmaid described this as a brown ale, but I quickly realized it was an ESB. Bitterness was more than an average UK ESB, medium bodied amber and some roast, fruit, caramel and nuttiness all wrapped into a decent ESB. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2009
[1998-20090216] Tap. Mild grains aroma, not much there. Clear, amber red body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Toasty malt grains flavour with some bread toast, young hops, lightly burned characteristics and a small kick of alcohol later. Medium body is initially smooth followed by graininess. Quite rough throughout, otherwise fair.

On Tap @ Cricketers Arm, Orlando. Pours murky brown color with a small white head. Nose is slight;y nutty, caramel. Palate is pretty much the same with slight sweetness as well. Draught at King Edward, Ilderton ON- Deep, slightly golden amber with a creamy white cap. Nose is simple, and of caramel malts, some fruit, floral hops, some rye. Sweet malts meet fruity components of the same sweetness, some floral bittering hops, leading to a toasty nutty finish. Creamy, fruity, malty. A simple comfort beer, but one I am glad I got to try. Thanks for getting this one on RIch! Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Draft. Pours a dark amber body with an off white head. Bitter earth y tones and soil with a bitter earth character. Some lighter dried fruit character that follows through. Not bad. vtafro (7451) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 3, 2009
Tap at copper mine. Amber pour, with little if any aroma. One good thing too say about this beer is its very drinkable but that isnt saying much. Not much to flavor or after taste. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 2, 2010
Draft pour. Orangish,off-white head. Fruit, raisin, bread, light sweet caramel. Soft beer, easy to drink, but not very interesting. DerWeg (1748) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2009
Draught @ beerbistro. This was so standard-issue I don’t know what to say about it. Grainy malt and bitter hop flavors that are balanced & glaringly competent, amid strong carbonation. Nondescript aromas with a hint citrus and fruit. Bland corporate stuff, yet it looks great with dark amber coat and light fine head. "This meal has no soul."
