September 2016 - Bottle share at Leighton’s. Many thanks to Leighton for this hard to find Fuller’s! As ’Fuller’s Old Winter Ale’, 5.3%, 2013 bottling. Dark amber orange, lightly sparkling, clear, foamy dense tan head, thick lacing. Aroma is fruity and biscuity – lots of rhubarb crumble, also red apple. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, foamy. Taste is a touch watery but with toffee and red berries. A pretty enjoyable beer overall. (3.4)

Kirkas, punertavanruskea olut pienehköllä, mutta kivan pysyvän vaahtoreunuksen omaavalla vaahdolla. Tuoksu maltaisen karamellinen, hieman pähkinäinen, humaloidun oloinen.
