(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a firm and mid-sized slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly toasted malty aroma with caramel, hints of caramel and a mildly spicy and fruity hoppy touch. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Initially malt-accented toasty taste with caramel and delicately nutty notes, accompanied by a rounded spicy and fruity hoppy blend; quite dry and bitter hoppy finish with a balanced toast-malty touch. Not really Christmassy but nevertheless a rounded British Ale. 01.III.13

Moebbels (751) - FINLAND - DEC 5, 2016
A clear dark amber beer with a decently lasting thin off-white head. Very sweet nose with caramel, dark bread, syrup and nuts. Taste is quite sweet but has some hoppy bite to balance it out and a spicy cardamom aftertaste. Medium carbonation and rich palate but still easy to drink. Decent sweetish winter neer with a nice maltiness.

Bottle 0.5l at home Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 05.12.2016. Pour it clear dark amber color with small white head. Aroma red fruits with some rusty feel. Taste easy drinkable kind of watery, little bit thin feel, sweet apple, dark fruits as well, some caramel, hm, soft to medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. OK decent.

Lore (2292) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 3, 2016
clear dark amber colour, moderate sized yellowish off-white head; aroma of biscuits, floral and fruity notes, toffee toasted bread and some roasted nuts;taste is similar to the aroma, but with definitely much less complexity; Iím not fully convinced by this ale - seems to be something what is brewed exclusively to ride the wave of holiday season...

Bottled, 500 ml. Clear copper one with a small filmy beige head on it, which diminishes with time completely. Nutty, fruity nose. Taste of marmalade, aroma brings caramel, nuts, citrusses, toasty hints... mouthfeel is slick, bit sticky. Nutty, tart citrus fruity finish. Nice.

Nice rich taste. Quite sweet, fits well for a winter ale. The hops keep in the background of a roasted bread flavour.

Clear brown little head. Malty caramel aroma. Similar bitterness to London Pride, but with a bigger body and loads more malts. Filling beer. Long dry piney bittetness lingers on the palate. Another good one from Fullerís.

Turtles (2194) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 12, 2016
500ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber with a fluffy tanned head, rich sticky lacing around the glass. Malty aroma with dried fruit, caramel, bread, earthy, woody and grains. Soft carbonated, medium-bodied, smooth and quite dry mouthfeel. The taste is malty and toasted, herbal bitter, earthy hops, mild spicy, bread, caramel and grains. Pleasant bitterness in the finish.

Amber beer with thick slightly off white head. Nice sweet and slightly toasty aroma. Hints if toffee and cough drops. The taste is mild caramel sweetness with a toasty bitter finish. Actually a really nice christmas/winter brew I think.
