orange amberish colour, pours no head, clear liquid. The aroma is a faint, wooden and malty very standard ’pale aleish’ aroma. There is a faint smoky aroma floating from the glass that surprises slightly. The tastes really follows the same path; there is nothing very surprising coming your way. Having said that, I usually find weaker, lower percentage pale ales and bitter failing at being ’refreshing’, even when they so hardly try to advertise it in that manner. This however, is really refreshing and I would love to enjoy this on a hot summer day with some food. A good, standard, low percentage pale ale; nothing wrong with that. You get what you buy. Bottle conditioned pale ale. Light golden color with an off-white head. The nose is of fresh peas, grassy and sweet. The flavors are nicely balanced, sweet with a dry bitter finish. The mouthfeel’s a bit slick and oily. The carbonation is moderate. This is pretty decent, I’m suprised Fullers don’t release it more widely. Ober (2811) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - AUG 11, 2011

6 Dry herby hoppy aroma.
4 Rich orange, large loose head
6 Full malts, some acaramel, slightly toffee-ey, dry hoppiness.
3 Fairly pleasant body, crisp carbonation. Finish herby.
12 Served at room temperture, so not as crisp and refreshing as it could be.
Dark golden color. Aroma is of malts, hops, and a little citrus. Flavor is pretty much the same with a little floral. Has a crisp malt finish. A good brew on a hot summer day. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2010
A Mes rate. Bottle at the Pride of Spitalfields. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - APR 26, 2009
Clean gold with a reasonable white head. Strange ashy aroma. Floral and soapy flavour but actually a little better than I was expecting. At least there are some hops in it. Nice and crisp and drinkable. Faint mineral / sulphur notes. Surprisingly ok.
On tap. color was amber with a medium sized, firm head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, must and earth. The flavor was a bit mild; bready and earthy with some sweetness. Ok.
