Smell of tar, oak. Black colour, light brown head. Aroma of tar, licorice, roasted malt. Bitter, medium sweet. Light but fizzy carbon. caribou43 (1246) - Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 23, 2017
I picked up this bottle at the grain d'orges, in Crissier. I tried this one two days ago for the birthday of my brother, at home in Lausanne, best before 12/2018. It was the second beer of the day and we were not disappointed. In my own opinion, it is a lovely oatmeal stout with intense aromas for the style. The body is deeply black, white and brown foam, average carbonation, normal carbonation. The taste is with roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, hop with a dry and mineral finish, bitterness and coffee staying a right moment your mouth, side of oat giving a kind of sweetness but behind the coffee, well built beer, dreamy moment in the pub. Toasty, milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt. Pitch black, small tan to brown head. Sweet toasted bread, chocolate, some sweet liquor. Miraculously thin for a style and ABV. Flat, bit oily, some burning alcohol sensation during finish. Fine, but need to admit I've expected more. //bottle thanks to Mladen FireGlider (717) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 9, 2017
Dark brown to black color with off top brownish head. Caramel and nice roasted malt aroma with some liquorice notes. Creamy and light sweet caramel taste. Caramel and light dry aftertaste. Nice one.

Pours near black with a reddish brown tinge. Tan head with excellent head retention. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate and coffee with a moderate hop aroma, a little piney and resinous. Also a hint of herbal, licorice aroma. Flavour is medium sweet and good balance of bitterness and alcohol warmth. Lovely smooth finish. A truly delicious porter. Doesn’t have the easy drinking style of Fuller’s London Porter, but then that isn’t the point is it? Fules (1425) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - SEP 30, 2017
Közepes, nagyon tartós, bézs hab, vöröses fekete szín. Aszalt gyümölcsös, gabonás, enyhe pörkölt malátás illat. Pörkölt malátás, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös ízek. Kissé száraz, közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. Kellemes, letisztult, nem túlbonyolított porter.
