The Champion theme was used once again for this classic Vintage Ale with Champion Fuggles and Champion Optic malt. Slightly redder in appearance, this ale is full of body with a sherry-like flavour.

Toffee tasting with a welcome alcoholic bite. Someone said butterscotch flavor and I would have to agree. Full body. Cool packaging. Soon will try the 2000 and 2001.

Deep amber color. Sweet malty flavor with hints of toffee, caramel and cherry. Suprisingly easy to drink. A great beer

Absolutely fantastic. Very strong alcohol aroma upon opening, not nearly as overwhelming in the taste. I find the scotch qualities quite enjoyable. Very well malt balance. I’m so glad I have another bottle.

NO:09399 I enjoyed this beer in a boat few minutes before sunset @ bisserup harbour DK(homecity). The beer is a beautiful as the sunset, cloudy and dark cobber-golden body, with a large white head. The aroma is filled with sweet hints of fruit and caramel. The flavor spreds all trhough your mouth with a perfect balance between bobles and consistency. It tasts sweet like roasted nuts and caramel, with a bitter feel of malt. A damn good beer. Lucky me - my local beer dealer still has a few left in her beer cellar!

Appearance:Hazy, brown. Nose:Fruity balsamico.Spices. Round. Winy. Mouthfeel:Soft, round, mellow, excellent. Flavor: Very nice toffee. Begins sweet, but dries. Some spices. Sherry. Aftertaste is disappointing. A nice beer, but not so complex as I expected.

18.33 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish-orange with a half-finger off-white head. The aroma is of cherries, raisins, toffee, yeast, malt, etc. The flavor is VERY sweet and creamy of cherries and yeast. Very smooth, lightly carbonated and Very good.

Beautiful red-amber color. Some alcohol nose, honey and malt. Quite bitter mouthfeel, well balanced; a honey touch; the hop is not very aromatic.
