COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle Conditioned.
85,000 bottles of Vintage Ale were produced with an organic theme, using Champion Optic Malt and Organic Target Hops. A fresh hop aroma with notes of honey and toffee, leads to a slightly sweeter taste and burnt, bitter aftertaste.

Bottle at BCTC Saturday night over at Chris’s amazing truck. Pours a lightly hazed golden orange with a thin white head. Oxidized plum, malt and pine. Sweet caramel and big oxidization. Very sweet, plum and prune. Toffee, malt and toast.

Bottle purchased from the brewery website & consumed with Trev 17.06.11 Pours mid amber a touch hazy with a white head. This is surprisingly soft on the tongue, there is some warmth permeating through the mouth, a bitterness remains throughout. Some dark dried fruits, there is a touch of oxidisation otherwise it is still remarkably good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle. Bought directly from the brewery in 2011 with a best before date of 2003. Sweetness dominates and it isa bit one dimensional.Slightly cloudy and quite powerful.Nice but not as good as I had anticipated. An expensive treat.

Amber with a small tan head. Malty aroma of biscuit and caramel with some marmalade. Dusty oxidized cardboard notes. Sweet malty flavour with strong marmalade fruity note, and bitter finish. Clearly too old, or not aged well.

Bottle (50 cl), thanks Jonte. Clear deep copper, medium off-white head. Deep earthy and dusty cellar aromas, with some wood, and herbal hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Dry and well balanced, a it short aftertaste. Very nice, has aged very well.
