[Sampled December 6, 2003] The aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of berries especially cowberries. The color is orange/red and it has a beutiful beige head. The flavor is lovely sweet malty with notes of fruit and cowberries. The alcohol runs prickling over the tongue. A very nice beer. After having tried 5 different vintages over the course of 2 months, I'll conclude, that this beer has to age for atleast 2 years and will keep the high quality up to atleast 6 years of age. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2012

Red-brown. Very malty, full bodied, bitter and complex. When tasted side by side with the 1999 vintage this is less vinuous, and still tasted a tad sugary. Neverthe less a great strong ale. madmitch76 (25563) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2009
31st July 2008. Very sweet beer. Pronounced red fruity start, raspberries plus subtler strawberry and cherry. This is followed by a sweet creamy malt with a whisper of milk chocolate. The abv is well disguised in this easy drinking complex beer. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 8, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Dark amber with a thick, creamy, off-white head leaving a pretty lacework. Vinous nose with lots of alcohol. Full-bodied, sherry notes and a touch of overripe fruit. Underneath everything is a pleasant, warming alcohol. Dry, lightly bitter finish. Another grand vintage ale from Fullers. 231005
