Bottle. Slightly outdated since it should be consumed before end of 2005. A cloudy beer with a white foam. Tastes of caramel and nuts. Not much hops and no alcohol taste either, especially considering its ABV.

Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2006
Bottle @ Kookfest. Almondy nutty malts. Fruity finish. Mild hop flavours in this one which werent enought to balance out the sweetness. On the whole not bad, despite being out of kilter.

Bottle at Kookfest 06. Hazy, some floaters, lasting beige head. Nutty, vanilla, less intense hop than the others I tried. Bit more rounded perhaps. Again good hop on the end. Not as a big a fan as the 2000 or 2001

Bottle from the <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Places/ShowPlace.asp? target=blank>Fullerís Brewery in London, England in May 2005. No bottle number. One of the last bottles available at the brewery I was told. Deep amber-copper in colour, long lasting beige head, thick lace. The aroma is of christmas and coffee cakes, dark fruits, some chocolate and caramel, lightly sweet, alcohol hardly present in this vintage. The flavour is malts (lots of sweet caramel), cakes and cookies, plums, figs and raisins. Light sweetness, creamy full mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes cakey, lingering. The vertical is starting to get really good.
