Aroma is heavy on raisins and figs. Whilst pouring this brew developed a foamy eggshell head which has receded to just a bubbly layer on top of the beer. Taste is spice and raisins with a long warming finish. I felt that this vintage lacks the Orange and citrus characteristics but that’s perhaps what 8 years does to this beer, its a good one nonetheless - especially to sip on a cold evening. zacgillbanks (5185) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2014

Courtesy of Garthicus. Reddish brown pour with a thin off-white head. Very Trappiste Ale like. Vinous, strong malty caramel backbone, redcurrants, booze, earthy, woodchip, slight clove and nutmeg, hints of tangerine peel. Smooth on the palate and full bodied. This is the only Fuller’s Vintage Ale I have tried and it’s extremely good.
