50 cL bottle, 51269. Pours almost clear and golden orange with a semi creamy and slowly collapsing off-white head. Dry fruity malt towards spiced aroma. Flavour is medium sweet and fruity with faint oxidised note. Light spice note following. Light yeasty phenol note yet controlled and with a nice caramel malt note following into the finish. Light liqourice note, mainly in the far finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, metal, alcohol, and hints of oxidation. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal from the alcohol, and a slight oxidation combined with some over ripe fruits, leading to a bitter finish. The alcohol tickles the tongue.

joergen (28771) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 11, 2006

Bottled (44659). Dark amber colour, huge beige creamy longlasting head, lacing. Aroma is nuts, alcohol and huge hoppyness. Quite sweetish fruity hops. Flavour is nuts, alcohol and hops. A bit weak wineish hints, but it feels like it will be better after a few years in the cellar. Needs to settle a bit flavourwise.

bottle at home ... bottle no 15902 ... hazy coppper ... thin off white head ... sweet fruits ... orange and spice nose.... sweet rich front ... orange fruits ... open alcohol ... orange peel soft fruits ... ligth biscuity malts ... not working for me

omhper (25374) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 19, 2007
Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cloudy dark ruby. Fruity salty nose with some glue. Sweet, yeasty and fruity. Woody and syrupy with near full body and sticky mouthfeel. A bit raw an immature with green apples in syrup. Still feels young, but with no potential of going anywhere - sort of like a 29 year old athlete still without any success.

Cloudy amber - brown beer. Creamy head. Sweet milky malt nose, a tad oxidised. Slightly soft palate, a little dry. Milky sweet malt, a little orange, toffee caramel. Spicy finish with a carbonated bite. Decent but nowhere near the best of the vinatges.

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Bottle #52466. Clear, warm amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of wood and overripe fruit. Very full-bodied with a solid caramel and malt base with woody notes. There’s a distinct and almost burning alcohol in the finish that also contains a slightly brutal bitterness. 071007
