beermouth (435) - Langeskov, DENMARK - SEP 26, 2006
Bottle # 24635. Clear deep amber with fine tan head. Wood, hops, spice and caramel. Lack’s a bit balance, but it will come with age! Still young! mabjork (692) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 18, 2006
Bottled. (forgot to write down the damn batch number). Clear red/brown in colour. It has a fluffy and foamy white head. The aroma is toffee like and there are malty and sour scents as well. The flavour is filling, malty and a bit bitter. GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 19, 2006
Aroma:caramel,light vanilla and light alcohol...
Appearance:clear reddish-amber,small head...
Flavor:caramel, light bitterness and light alcohol... Sammy (12205) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2012 Not as good as 2004, or even 2005. Carbonation and bitterness in the forefront, then flushed through with malt followed by scotch taste. Sorry, had it five years down the road and it was too sweet, although aromas more cognac-like.
A malty winter warmer, tasted 6 years later. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - JAN 28, 2007

Moderate malty aroma. Large creamy initial apperance. Light brown head. Excellent lacing. Clear amber body. Heavy sweet initial flavor. Medium palate. robinvboyer (4673) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 13, 2007
aroma is quite harsh, lots of booze. this beer is still definetly young. flavour is alot of buscuity malt, and some hoppy bitterness. will definetly benefit from a few years in the cellar. should mellow out. daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 13, 2007
Sparkling dark copper colour with a fizzy white head. Fresh malty aroma with a little citrusy note and just a touch of alcohol making its way through at the end. Brown sugar and raisins also in the nose. The body is very sweet with brown sugar notes. Nicely balanced with a smooth hop bitterness at the end. A bit sweet for my liking, probably because it’s a bit young, but it’ll do for now. Sanchex (224) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 25, 2007
I had to break into this one early and it was worth it. Although I do see this one getting better with age. Some time would probably mellow out the underlying harsh alcohol notes. Very nice sweet port flavour with a touch of hops... would have liked more hops. Can’t wait to crack open my other bottle in a year or two. Cheers! Moz (613) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2007
Bottle. Amber colour with an off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with some hops. A bit alcoholic flavour with hops & caramel.
