Wonderful look, amber color with a thick creamy head. As I’ve been used to in these recent years, the aroma is mostly disappointing: vegetables, cabbage, dust, alcohol and just light caramel. Strong body, with oily mouthfeel; average caramel flavor; the final is oily and nutty. Correct bitterness. This beer ain’t get any better in a few years. johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2010
Bottle from Waitrose at Wolverhampton. Golden and clear. medium head and a full body. Subtle sweetness. Is it my imagination or are these annual beers getting more bland? Certainly not as impressive as previous years. Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 1, 2010

Bottle. Clear amber with a medium white head. lovely caramel aroma with notes of fruit and toffee. The flavour is caramel, light peat, hops and ripe fruit. Very nice balanced brew. johninmelb (1127) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2010
Sweet and toasty nose with a good depth. Pours a lovely deep copper with a fluffy tan head. The flavour, though not the best Vintage I’ve had, still delivers in spades - plenty of resiny raisins and buttery malts leading to a gently alcoholic finish with a lingering moerish maltiness on the back of the tongue.
