COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Released August 2012.

The 2012 Vintage Ale, our 16th, is brewed with three of this year’s finest hop varieties including, Goldings, award winning Sovereign and Target hops. These combined with our unique yeast and organic barley grown by Sir James Fuller on the Neston Park Estate result in a wonderful limited edition brew that has a luxurious flavour.

Individually packed and numbered, this bottle is one of only one hundred and twenty five thousand produced

Although we are obliged to state a best before date of 2015, like a fine wine or whisky, this mellow golden ale will improve with age for many more years

Being bottle conditioned, the beer will form a natural sediment, so pour carefully, sit back, and enjoy this, the very finest of Fuller’s ales.

16.9oz bottle at Fleet Street Pub - fire alarm is over. Nose is bread, caramel and some hops I recognize but can’t identify (something you’d find in an oktoberfest). Easy to drink for 8.5%. Not worth the price but still tasty.

Burnished amber colour, a skim of cream coloured head and a persistent set of trails of carbonation. The aromas are of lush stonefruit, rolled sweet pastry and autumnal orchard fruit, even some pecan nuttiness. It’s a rich front and this comes through into a silky, oily, slick mouthfeel that is just so elegant, it deserves to be clad in ermine. There is a generous dollop of sweetness, but it isn’t cloying at all. Each sip brings a sigh of happiness, but I might just be a sucker for this style.

Ganske lækker kvalitets specialudgave øl fra Fullers. Lidt sød nok pga den høje alkoholprocent. Men en rigtig dejlig oplevelse - dog alt alt for dyr...

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2016 👍 Bottiglia 25968 aperta il 29 Marzo 2015. Color ambrato con discreta persistenza della schiuma. Corpo medio-pieno, poco carbonata.

Bottle number 127978. Pours a hazy caramel color. Thick almond colored head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts, and dark fruits. Burnt sugars, caramel, and dark fruits hit the palate. Very sweet yet still balanced with a light bitter backbone. Very enjoyable.
