Sempre equilibratissima. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2014
8/21/2014. From bottle# 108945. Caramel color with a fizzy tan head. Sweet malty aromas with hints of yeast. Sweet malty flavors, a bit buttery, dark fruit. A slighty boozy finish. Aurelius (5294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2014
No. 122466. 5 for appearance - bottle suitable for homebrew re-use, good label, seal, presentation box. Foggy chestnut brown, khaki head. Superb aroma - sweet caramel, golden raisins, peat, aromatic hops, a little sweaty. The aroma mirrors the flavor - sweetish toffee/caramel, slight mineral tones, tannins, pleasantly bitter, wood. Malty, yeasty, hoppy - what a beer should be. Body is slightly on the heavy side, but the only minor, minor flaw that I could find was that the initial aftertaste went a little vacant at times. Nicely bitter and a little woody in the finish. Sort of a barleywine lite. Excellent. Beer Stop, Tallahassee. hohops (983) - Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2014
Pours an orangey amber colour, not much of a head to speak of. Plenty going on in the aroma- cherries, orange peel, fruitcake, malts. Taste is quite full, lots of flavours going on, orange marmalade, almond hints, fruity hops, you can also detect a bit of alcohol. Very tasty. kingstoni (2079) - FINLAND - AUG 5, 2014

Hazy dark copper under a bubbly/foamy beige head. Lovely nose of honey and fresh leafy hops, with some nutty toffee biscuit. It honestly smells like a more robust Fat Tire with a kiss of honey malt. Wow, honey has a huge dominance on the front of the flavor. Could almost think I was drinking mead, or at least a braggot. Smooth and full malt body with honey and toasted biscuit, with some slightly dry dusty yeast thats intrinsic to British strong ales, I think. Lots of almond butter and a little toffee with lots of honey throughout, slightly balanced by some earthy leafy hops that are generally really quiet. This is basically a braggot, as far as my taste buds are concerned. jonnyt (47) - USA - JUN 29, 2014
Cloudy amber with creamy head. Spicy fruit smell. Spicy, hoppy flavour with lots of dark fruit. Sweet and creamy aftertaste. Very tasty, easy to drink despite strength.

My first craft beer! Good looking beer, good for gifts. When I tasted it I didnít know anything about craft beer so the rating was like 4,5/5. It was quite a nice brew - thick, caramel, spicy not too pushy bitterness.
Prince/performance isnít good, but it was enjoyable.
In my opinion, London Porter is more enjoyable and the price is 5x less than this. neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2014
Bottle #09129. 500 mL bottle from the LCBO, served in a branded stem glass. Pours hazy orange-caramel with a small off-white head that fades to a thin remnant and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has huge malty notes of toffee, caramel, honey, biscuit, figs, raisins and grain, along with subtle orange peel, apple and a touch of earth. The flavour is moderately sweet throughout with huge caramel and toffee paired with apple, figs, honey, earth and a subtle grassy, citric hoppiness for balance. The finish is long and malty with toffee and subtle spicy, grassy hops. On the palate it is light-medium in body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is an excellent English strong ale. Lighter than previous vintages, it still has an impressive malty complexity. 2014-05-10
