ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 13, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy deep amber-hued orange body with a small off-white head. Nose is honey, caramel, toffee, biscuits, hints of red fruits, raisins, grains and bread. Taste is caramel, raisins, prunes, toffee, biscuits, vanilla and hints of burnt sugar, grass and port wine. Medium body and carbonation. Pleasantly accessible despite a fair amount of complexity, the stylish elegance of this series have yet to fail me. A bit more body would have made it even better, but all in all this is a very nice ESA.

BeerViking (5076) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2014
Red-brown with a fast-settling head and aromas of malty orange and something lightly herbal. Dry, fruity and herbal bitter, with hints of toffee, bittersweet and dry yet syrupy finish. Reminiscent of a herbal bitter liqueur. It’ll be interesting to see this age.

Bottle as picture above. Pours brown-gold with decent white head. Aroma of fruits and all the caramels / toffees. Wish I’d left this age more.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 28, 2014
500 ml bottle. Pours an amber colour with a small thick head. Aroma of toasted malts, some bread, nuts and sweet caramel. Flavour of toasted malts, nuts, sweetness, some mild graininess, white bread and some herbal notes. Medium bodied. Alcohol burns. Feels raw. Needs aging. Like 10 years or so. Nowhere close to the 10+ year old vintages. Decent. 7-3-7-3-13 3.3

4.3
VereTipsu (42) - ESTONIA - NOV 28, 2014
Head: creamy color, thick when poured, thin layer when undisturbed, but doesn’t disappear; beautiful lacing.
Aroma: strong malt and sweet roast, smoked plum, raisins, also alcohol is noticeable
Color: dark orange / amber, a bit hazy, but no floating yeast
Taste: strong and roasty maltiness, sweet and smoky with strong plum taste, caramel reminds me of maple syrup.
Palate: full body, medium to low carbonation, nice silky mouthfeel and good roasty aftertaste that stays for a long time after swallowing.
