Bootle, courtesy of myself, poured @ dining room table, just now.
Pours a lightly hazy rust color with a decent enough head that fades into a small head that leaves plenty of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is fruity, most specifically figs, red apples, and (more generally) cooked fruit. Itís got some toffee in there. It does for better or worse show itís alcoholic strength on the nose.

The flavor has an almost brandy like flavor, certainly alcoholic... but also in a warming way. Itís got some cherry, some toffee, & some vanilla... which is to say that itís on the sweet side but decidedly not cloying. The bitterness is low but lingers in the finish.

All together this is a wonderfully enjoyable beer. Not something thatís usually up my alley, but itís still fun to have something like this every now and again.

Poured medium amber with a dense off white head. Aroma of medium sweet berries and soft malt. Medium body, flavour of sweet berries and bitter dryness. A decent vintage.

Has been in my "cellar" , and has obviously enjoyed its time there! Pours crystal clear copper colour with a thin head. Honey and dried fruits on the aroma, it tastes like a great Belgian/ Trappist ale. There is still enough hops in there to leave a clean finish. Should have bought more than one!

Bottle. Pours a vibrant red-gold with a high, mixed-grain cream-colored head. Nose is fig, date, raisins, cardamom, coriander, turbinado sugar, dark rum, bourbon, Christmas cake, vanilla, caramel -- this is a big olí mix of deliciousness. Rich and smoky on the palate, shading more towards the darker flavors; itís even getting into chocolate and molasses on the tongue, with a tobacco and dark rum harmony note. Itís a little disjointed now, but given time it will integrate nicely... and I have a second bottle to put away and forget for a while. How serendipitous.

[ As Fullers Vintage Ale 2013 ].
Clear medium to dark yellow - orange amber color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, fruity, dried berry - fruit, light caramell. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, vintage, dried fruit, malty, light alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. A bit ruff and young .. will improve by a bit of ageing ... [20130814]

Barwa i piana: barwa bursztynowa, głęboka, lekko zamglona. Piana lekko zabarwiona , kremowa, umiarkowanej wielkości o podobnej trwałości. Aromat: alkoholowy, winny i estrowy - czerwone owoce, wiśnie, śliwki. Goryczka i odczucie w ustach: umiarkowana goryczka, raczej delikatna i krůtka.

Bottle from LCBO. Aroma of raisin and brandy. Taste of toffee, raisin, marmalade, bitter finish. Very tasty. Maybe my favorite vintage ale. Or maybe Iím just really into it today.

Bottle(#24405):Deep orangey-golden, hazy, stable and lacy yellowish head; moderate to solid caramelly-nutty nose, accompanied by a slight alcoholic touch, some woody hops are there; medium to full bodied, moderate to solid sweet flavour, still a slight bitterness present, pretty full bodied; lingering caramelly and nutty finish, followed by balancing hops in the aftertaste.
