Pours a hazy orange color with a creamy white head. Aroma is fruit, molasses, sweet bread, apple, pear, caramel, yeast, funk, clove, alcohol. Taste is molasses, malt, caramel, funk, clove, booze, green apple peel, bright pleasant fruit. Great beer, aged well over 2 years, wish I had the patience to hold it longer, it has a best by date of 2023.

Bottle @ THT February. Pours hazy reddish beer with a quickly disappearing, off white head on top. Aroma of caramel, malts, some sugary molasses. Flavor is sweet, loads of sugar and some booze and a big base of caramel. A bit unbalanced and could use more age, but still a nice beer.

Bootle, courtesy of myself, poured @ dining room table, just now.
Pours a lightly hazy rust color with a decent enough head that fades into a small head that leaves plenty of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is fruity, most specifically figs, red apples, and (more generally) cooked fruit. It’s got some toffee in there. It does for better or worse show it’s alcoholic strength on the nose.

The flavor has an almost brandy like flavor, certainly alcoholic... but also in a warming way. It’s got some cherry, some toffee, & some vanilla... which is to say that it’s on the sweet side but decidedly not cloying. The bitterness is low but lingers in the finish.

All together this is a wonderfully enjoyable beer. Not something that’s usually up my alley, but it’s still fun to have something like this every now and again.

Has been in my "cellar" , and has obviously enjoyed its time there! Pours crystal clear copper colour with a thin head. Honey and dried fruits on the aroma, it tastes like a great Belgian/ Trappist ale. There is still enough hops in there to leave a clean finish. Should have bought more than one!

Bottle. Pours a vibrant red-gold with a high, mixed-grain cream-colored head. Nose is fig, date, raisins, cardamom, coriander, turbinado sugar, dark rum, bourbon, Christmas cake, vanilla, caramel -- this is a big ol’ mix of deliciousness. Rich and smoky on the palate, shading more towards the darker flavors; it’s even getting into chocolate and molasses on the tongue, with a tobacco and dark rum harmony note. It’s a little disjointed now, but given time it will integrate nicely... and I have a second bottle to put away and forget for a while. How serendipitous.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.

[ As Fullers Vintage Ale 2013 ].
Clear medium to dark yellow - orange amber color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, fruity, dried berry - fruit, light caramell. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, vintage, dried fruit, malty, light alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. A bit ruff and young .. will improve by a bit of ageing ... [20130814]

Barwa i piana: barwa bursztynowa, głęboka, lekko zamglona. Piana lekko zabarwiona , kremowa, umiarkowanej wielkości o podobnej trwałości. Aromat: alkoholowy, winny i estrowy - czerwone owoce, wiśnie, śliwki. Goryczka i odczucie w ustach: umiarkowana goryczka, raczej delikatna i krótka.
