Can. Pours a clear dark gold body with a large fizzy white head that faded slowly. The nose is very heavy on the ginger with just slight notes of citrusy hops and pale malt. The flavor is is quite spicy and ginger forward right off the bat. There’s just a little citrusy hoppiness and malt past all the ginger. The heavy ginger makes it quite refreshing and zesty though. Light bodied with lots of fizzy prickly carbonation. Slightly spicy lingering finish. Pretty interesting and refreshing beer. Maverick34 (3410) - New York, USA - APR 13, 2017
Clear gold pour white head. Pretty strong with the ginger and maybe some sour notes. Ok. Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 13, 2017
This brew is a clear pale golden color with with a thick off-white head that recedes steadily to a film after initially gushing out of the can. Stringy lacing. Ginger, malt and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of fresh ginger, fruity hops and caramel malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a ginger and grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall. appearance: lightly hazed medium amber gold, a finger of frothy near-white, yellowish head. aroma: strong ginger on the nose, along with some floral, citrus hops and a slight vegetal note. taste: spicy ginger right up front, with a zingy, earthy, herbal note; there’s some citrus, light pine. finish: lingering floral and citrus bitterness, pretty dry, slightly astringent. notes: Nearly very good, but was missing any semblance of a malt base to balance. Give me a little caramel or toffee to even out the ginger spice and bittering hops and this is great.

Definitely refreshing, but the can I got was severely lacking in any ginger aroma or flavor. There’s a big citrus floral aroma but that’s pretty much it. I tried to swirl it, let it warm but nothing would release the spicy aroma of ginger for me. It tastes like a decent pale ale. Citrusy, floral, not much malt but that ginger was nowhere to be found. As a pale ale it’s pretty run of the mill but I think the ginger would have really taken it to a new level. Sadly, mine didn’t have any of that said ginger. Not bad but kind of disappointed, I was excited about this one.

Can. OK, I might be jaded on this one, because I HATE ginger as a beer adjunct. But being hopeful, I cracked the top of this one, and like the visuals and the aroma. Then I have to drink it, though, and there it is ... ginger. Ick. (#6432, 11/27/2016) yespr (49173) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2016

12 oz can from Growlers to Go, Short Pump, VA the ale pours a clear light amber with an off white head and limited lacing. The head quickly dissipated. You detect some ginger and caramel malts on the nose. The taste was more complex with ginger dominating and caramel malts for the backbone. There was some herbal hops completing the experience. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. The finish was clean with ginger lingering on the tongue.
