You definitely get the sweet potato but it is still just a lager. Pours a great color and is very drinkable, would be a great gateway into craft beers for those who are just starting out.

Pint can. Apricot color with a white head. Lager yeast, sweet potato/squash, grain cream soda and green apple aromas. Lightly sweet with a light green apple tartness. Lighter body with a watery feel. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - NOV 25, 2016
Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear light amber to gold color with a small white head. The aroma is a mild sweet scent. The taste is mild hops with some sweetness, I am assuming this is the yams used to make this brew. hershiser2 (3587) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - NOV 15, 2016
$2.95 pint can from Wine Warehouse. Pours orange with an inch of soft white head. Aroma of sweet grass, sweet potato. Taste is interesting. Sweet up front, a bit like a sweetened flavored tea, but then turns a bit nutty and slightly grassy. Interesting. I almost want to say a bit on the flat side, but I think the flavors are making me think that. obguthr (6586) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 3, 2016
Pounder: Pecan, hay, and earth nose. Hazy copper, medium yellow head. Pecan, brief sweet malt at midpalate, Light body, easy carbonation. The sweet potato comes across more as a earthy nuttiness which is not unfamiliar for the style. Great job. yespr (47034) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2016
From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight caramelish. Toasted, slight fruity and light herbal. Dry and caramelish finish.

Taps clear amber with a typical buff head. Aroma features malt and fresh sweet potato notes. Flavor continues the tasty sweet potato, and ups the malt a bit while adding honey and ginger hints. Body and fizz are fair. Carve room for one. slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAY 17, 2016
Solid brew, not to exciting but a little differently. Nice crisp lager base, slightly sweet leaning with malty and sweet potato flavor and nose. DiarmaidBHK (5649) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2016
Can. Pours light brown with a thin white head. leaves some lacing in the glass. A fair amount of sugar on the nose. Very sweet on the tongue. Finishes clean. Solid but not particularly compelling. Iphonephan (7190) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - APR 12, 2016
From a can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Earthy, toasted aromas. Flavors of vegetables and bread. Bitter finish. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 1, 2016
16 oz can served in a lager glass. Oct. 2015 canning date (stamp on bottom of can).
Pours with a slightly hazy, deep amber body topped by a short but durable and creamy head. Full sheets of lacing are left on the glass with each tip.
Lightly sweet with clear evidence of adjuncts that I probably wouldn’t identify as sweet potatoes without foreknowledge. An unexpected but acceptable tartness.
Feel: medium+ soft carbonation that seems just right for this medium bodied brew.
