Pours thick as old motor oil, super viscous with a light brown, foamy head. Smell is smoke and chocolate. Incredibly smooth, and not too sticky in the mouth despite the added sugar. My new go-to breakfast beer.

Dark brown pour with a small tan head, moderate lacing. Aroma is clearly coffee, with some chocolate. Taste is coffee, then chocolate, then finishes cleanly with both. Slightly creamy. Bitterness one would expect from coffee is almost absent.

Pours up a dark brown, nearly black color with a small tan ring of head. Aroma is coffee, and some mild chocolate. Taste is coffee, dark chocolate, roast and a hint of sweet cream. Medium full body with a somewhat dry finish. Good brew.

An easy drinking porter that balanced chocolate and coffee element in a medium bodied, easy drinking package. Pours dark brown with a weak head. Nice round full body though, and lots of flavor. Mellow chocolatey fade.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Can from Appalachian Vintner. Pours black with a khaki head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Solid coffee and roasted malt notes on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Solid.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Can from App Vintner- Pours pitch with a tan head, some lacing. Aroma is milder on the coffee then I was expecting, but it’s still good.

12oz can @ Malia’s. Pours thick dark brown with a medium beige head. Roast coffee definitely the story hear. Flavors add cocoa and vanilla touches, but it’s all about the coffee. Nice bitter coffee finish. Good example, enjoyed it.

From mercantile in Fredericksburg. Deep Brown pour. Strong coffee and malts. Nothing out of the ordinary but we’ll done.

Refrigerated 12 oz. can poured into a glass. Black with huge light brown head. Aroma is nice coffee, medium body, medium/light carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is really nice coffee and a little chocolate.
