22oz bottle I picked up at a artisans market at Union Market in DC. Pours a clear amber with some thin, eggshell head. Nose is interesting, some muddled dark fruit, plum, malt, some orange peel but then a lot of tomato and a little celery seed. Flavor is the same, some mild sweetness, some tart tomato, herbal, oddly savory too. Slightly sticky finish. Very strange. thedm (6320) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 27, 2013
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy with a frothy top finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent red brown colored body. The mild aroma was mild fruit. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium fruity aftertaste. The funky flavor contained notes of mild spice mild hops and fruity. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 26, 2013

Persimmon flavors bring out some tasty notes, heavy malt backbone, warming alcohol is a good thing Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Bomber. Very alcoholic tasting. Sweet smelling. Dry. Puckery. Yeast is not as prevalent as I thought it would be.

Like last years vintage was to me quite a bit better. I lost the persimmon in the depth of this beer. Still good though.
