From tap. Pours deep golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma is smoked and toasted malty. Dry and caramelish to smoked. Dense malty, meaty and smoked malty. Dry and li gering smoked finish. Cybercat (5965) - Georgia, USA - JUN 5, 2016
Taps opaque coffee brown with a nice, fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma features hickory smoke, roast malt and semi-sweet chocolate notes, more stout than Porter. Flavor delivers roast malt, hickory smoke, chocolate, and subtle molasses notes. This ain’t no hogwash! Firm, smooth body has good fizz. Get smoked - but please contact Lyft or Uber if you get too smoked! jtclockwork (16951) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 14, 2015

Nice sweet smoked beer. Brown with ruby highlights. Campfire it the aroma. The taste adds a nice brown sugar sweetness. Medium carbonation and drinkable, S8bored (2) - Michigan, USA - APR 13, 2014 does not count
Enjoyed a growler full with great people in Indianapolis.
Nice smoky nose with a hint of sweetness. Hickory.
Appearance was a bit light for a porter.
Taste was nice and smoky with a faint sweetness. Kinda how I like my ribs. Not a lot of porter flavors but the flavors were still good.
Palate was touch thin but still went down smooth.
Overall a really good beer that was more interesting than a lot of the run of the mill beers that a lot of places are turning out. Nice work!

Amazing smoke beer. Great aroma of a wood bbq pit with a drak and burnt color to match. Taste was still somewhat sweet but with a good rauch balance. Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - MAY 10, 2013
From Beerilicious iphone app: Nice beer. Great with some dry rub ribs. Make sure you are in the mood for a smoked beer and you’re good to go thedm (6282) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 27, 2013
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized dark tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a semi-opaque dark copper brown colored body. The nice aroma was smoky. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a strong smoky aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of smoky mild hops and malt. The smoke really comes through in the finish. A decent one that I would consider buying again. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with very little head. Nose is very smokey. Taste is the same - not a lot else to the beer aside from the smoke. mansquito (6722) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Pizzeria Paradiso, Georgetown tap: Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, smoke, and bacon. Taste is moderately smoked. It ain’t no Aecht Eiche Doppelbock, but it is not minimal either. The nice thing is that there are also all of the porter flavors basically uninterrupted by the smoke: kind of like drinking two beers at once. Pretty dank.
