This is an underated smoked porter. Jet black appearence with a thin beige head. Smoke bomb nose. Campfire Hella smokey, rich and roasty

Taps opaque coffee brown with a nice, fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma features hickory smoke, roast malt and semi-sweet chocolate notes, more stout than Porter. Flavor delivers roast malt, hickory smoke, chocolate, and subtle molasses notes. This ain’t no hogwash! Firm, smooth body has good fizz. Nice sweet smoked beer. Brown with ruby highlights. Campfire it the aroma. The taste adds a nice brown sugar sweetness. Medium carbonation and drinkable, S8bored (2) - Michigan, USA - APR 13, 2014 does not count
Enjoyed a growler full with great people in Indianapolis.
Nice smoky nose with a hint of sweetness. Hickory.
Appearance was a bit light for a porter.
Taste was nice and smoky with a faint sweetness. Kinda how I like my ribs. Not a lot of porter flavors but the flavors were still good.
Palate was touch thin but still went down smooth.
Overall a really good beer that was more interesting than a lot of the run of the mill beers that a lot of places are turning out. Nice work!

This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized dark tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a semi-opaque dark copper brown colored body. The nice aroma was smoky. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a strong smoky aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of smoky mild hops and malt. The smoke really comes through in the finish. Pizzeria Paradiso, Georgetown tap: Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, smoke, and bacon. Taste is moderately smoked. It ain’t no Aecht Eiche Doppelbock, but it is not minimal either. The nice thing is that there are also all of the porter flavors basically uninterrupted by the smoke: kind of like drinking two beers at once. Pretty dank.
