Murky coke brown pour with a thin head. Nose has notes of banana bread, cola, toasted grain, fruit skins, and mild alcohol. Medium to full bodied with bready/grainy notes in the flavor. Lightly fruity with some isoamyl acetate and a nutty quality. DukeBrewDevil (732) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Draft at the brewery. Nose of rich milk chocolate and raw dough. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel, and a flavor profile that mixes chocolate, yeast, banana, and caramel. A pretty quick, clean finish that’s only slightly sticky. Unsurprisingly, it tastes like a stronger Working Man’s Lunch, though not much more complex...just more of the same. Nice brew. ucusty (2691) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Tap at tylers Raleigh as a part of craft beer week. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Aroma is graham cracker, butterscotch, and bittersweet chocolate. Loads of banana and clove. Like a chocolate covered banana durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 13, 2012
Tap at the brewery. Pours a bit thicker than the usual brown Working Man’s Lunch. Not much head to speak of. Nose is cocoa, cola, stale graham crackers, dirt, and some weird notes I can’t quite name. Tastes about the same. Sweet and relatively dry. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Half pint at the brewery while waiting for my food. Nicer pour than expected, especially not caring overmuch for regular WML. Thick and oily dark brown, with a nice silky head. Nose was fairly soft, vanilla oil, cinnamon, potent hops and booze. Creamy mouthfeel, tastes a bit sharper than desirable but a decently satisfying booze and choc delivery vehicle.

Reddish brown with a small tan head. Nose is strong soy, salty, metal, stewed veggies. Flavor shows some banana, sweet cocoa, medium bitterness. Kind of a mess.
