Rated on 02-27-2013 at Fullsteam Brewery. This draft beer has a small beige head with a short retention, transparent amber body, very little carbonation, and a good amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is lightly grainy, herbal, earthy hops, caramel, and bready. The flavor is light hop bitterness, light earthy hops, caramel, and bready. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. A very quaffable beer that is not overly hoppy tasting and is worth trying. nickd717 (4682) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 27, 2011
On tap at Tyler’s in Durham, listed as "Carolina Common." Pours clear golden-copper in color with a small whitish head and some lacing. The aroma is decent, with biscuit malt evident, caramel, and herbal hop notes. The flavor is more or less standard California Common, with caramel, biscuit, and earthy hops that lend some bitterness. A bit sweet if anything. Medium-bodied with average carbonation, the expected mouthfeel pretty much. A good beer; certainly better than average for the style. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2014
Draft at blue moon grille. Pours clear amber with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a nice toasted malt, biscuit, bready. The taste has a light bitterness, toast, a bit of a light biscuit. I like this. brewski519 (644) - Morrisville, North Carolina, USA - SEP 28, 2010
On tap at Tyler’s Taproom in Durham - pours a an amber color with little head. Aroma of caramel malt and breadiness - with a faint hoppy scent (didn’t really notice any of the mint). Taste is malty - caramel & bread - with some earthiness to it. Picked up some spruce hoppiness as well. Medium bodied - nice brew.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2010 Growler from Weaver Street Market, Carrboro. Cap was really difficult to get off, I almost called the owner to ask if their was a special trick. Luckily, Ethan was around and could get it. Pours a relatively translucent golden amber with little a foamy white head that fades leaving a solid white lace around my fullsteam jar with a handle. Carbonation seemed low on my first pour, but I got much more of a head (to begin with) and it feels more carbonated overall now. Aroma of caramel malts, banana bread, light menthol, light hops. Slightly sweet, mostly bitter finish. chandler0201 (650) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - OCT 15, 2010
Pours light amber with small white head, low carbonation. Aroma of some bitter hops and bread. Tastes a bit of earthy hops, some breads and cereals and finish was surprisingly watery. mlunger12 (645) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 23, 2011
