Expecting a pizza beer of sorts when I saw this on the menu. More like a biere de mars or a french saison. Lemon, basil, and wheat
Month old can > stemless wine glass
A: Hazy pale yellow with a huge head, retaining well and lacing in patches.
S: Wheat and lemons mostly with light herbal notes.
T: Tart lemon flavor with peppery spice and wheat crackers. Basil is barely perceptible.
M: Light body with very stiff carbonation scrub and clean dry finish.

This is a really nice, not overly yeasty saison. Very light, aromatic, and nothing overwhelming. You can tell there’s basil in there, but it’s very subtle, more lemony than anything. Tallboy can from Wine Warehouse. Hazy yellow, large foamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of strong, spicy basil and white bread. The taste is spicy basil, thyme, mustard, pale malt. Pour is a hazy pale golden, almost like lemonade, with a huge white head. Aroma is some yeast notes with lemongrass and a herbal basil. Flavor is light and tangy with mostly basil coming after the swallow. Pounder: Lemon, pesto, pear, and cobwebs aroma. Greenish yellow, clear, thick head. Basil and lemon. Cobweb and celery finish. Light body, moderate carbonation. I really love basil in saisons, it’s a perfect combination.

The body is hazy and very light yellow with a touch of green. Decent white head on top.
Relatively delicate and clean flavor for style. Vegetative rather than fruity, but not in a bad sense. Vaguely herbal rather than obviously basil flavored. Tart aroma.

Pint can. From wine warehouse. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with white head. It's slightly herbal and lemon aroma. Flavor is lemongrass, definite basil, slight yeast. Finish is basil all over the place.

Very nice clean flavoring. Smooth with a bit of tang but not too much to tweak the salivary twangs. Refreshingly crafted.

16 oz can from Swamp Rabbit Grocery with bike ride. Perfect pairing with a hot summers day and bikes. Crisp and light. Farmhouse notes complement rather than overpower the basil. Some grass and pepper in there. Farmhouse ales have been said to be brewed to to" refresh, sustain and comfort a hard-working body and mind" and this does exactly that.
