COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s back. And what should be in its final form. This is a 12bbl R&D run of what we believe to be the new Working Man’s Lunch. The biggest change: a shift from that tricky Weizen yeast to our house ale yeast, as well as some ingredient adjustments to bring out more chocolate notes. WML epitomizes LUNCH. It’s a snack beer. It’s not intended to be a decadent chocobomb. It’s a brown ale with some chocolate in it...an afternoon beer that you can have more than one of.

Wow! Definitely not the smell you expect from this beer! It is like a banana-y hefeweizen, I love the deception! Reddish hue, taste is a bit like a hefe mixed with an ale....unique but not great, maltier with very light hops on the finish

Rated on 02-27-2013 at Fullsteam Brewery. This draft beer’s appearance is a small tan head that mostly diminishes, transparent ruby body, no visible carbonation observed, and a good amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is chocolate, caramel malt, hints of vanilla, and some banana. The flavor is chocolate, malt, sweet, banana, and vanilla. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer is quaffable and is a beer I would drink again.

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Triangle Town Center, Raleigh, NC. Pours brown with a foamy khaki head. Cola-like aroma with hints of chocolate and graham cracker. Taste is as advertised; reminds me of sweet cola, graham cracker, and chocolate. Nothing spectacular, certainly not mind-blowing, but decent. The overall score of this is at 50 as I am making my review. That seems about right.

Just okay chocolatey brown. Clear cola colored. Nutty aroma and a watery chocolate taste. Very thin mouthfeel.

Great write up and really wanted to like this beer but...not so much. We found it to be just a little too malty and sour.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent golden brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was nutty and brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mild mild malty aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of nutty brown malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Draft. Hazy brown color, medium tan head. Aroma of roasty chocolate. Taste is light malted milk balls. Easy drinking.
