Pours a dark amber color with white head. Nice hop aromas and flavors. Ever so slightly too bitter tmoreau (4413) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - AUG 14, 2015
On tap at the Tipsy Cow in Madison, WI. for pre-GToM festivities. Dispensed to a shaker showing a hazed, amber color, with light tan head foam, and some wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was subtle perfume, light citrus, and resin. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste was again citrus, with moderate but forceful pine, and an earthy, citrusy, and rind-like hop bitterness. A little tanginess came along for the ride. Liked it! Brigadier (3695) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - APR 30, 2015

After a few free pints of this during a social event I picked up a bottle to try at home. It improved slightly over the experience with a plastic cup yet it still lacks that little extra to set it apart. The result was not a total waste though; at least I know one brewery to skip on the next trip to Minneapolis as far as stocking up on singles.
Aroma / Appearance - The polished pennies shine in the glass with carbonation trapped under a dusky ivory head. Citrus notes, flowers, and hop driven iced tea lend an earthiness that feels Midwestern to the core.
Flavor / Palate - Malted iced tea with a dose of floral hops briefly sparks the palate. It then falls apart after a few seconds. The unremarkable finish lacks the hop bite that I anticipated for the style. Toning back the malts might give it what it needs to achieve something other than a middle of the road daily drinker for the Minnesota crowd.
Very nice IPA. Tons of aroma, lots of fresh citrus and grass. Sweet and a bit unbalanced, but it was what I wanted at the time anyway. Tried at the Mill City Tavern at the Minneapolis airport in 2015. mnurda (1285) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 23, 2015
Bottled sample from Whole Foods in Minneapolis. Serious malt backbone is a good description. Much darker than I expected. Very good

Smells like booze and subtle floral hops. Mild head on the pour to chalice. Great frothy mouth feel. Taste is piney citrus with a well pronounced malt profile. Nearly qualifies at British style IPA in my opinion. But that?s just me. So far my favorite Fulton from a bottle, should probably head to the location and have some taps. gopherfan99 (1947) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 23, 2015
Bottle (trade with non Rate Beer member); pours clear amber with an off white head; aroma is hops, pine, and malt; taste is bitter and hoppy but has some caramel and malt notes; has a dry bitter finish; fairly average IPA edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 5, 2015
Draft pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of malts, citrus and floral . Taste is citrus, caramel and some grass. vandc01 (422) - North Branch, USA - DEC 25, 2014
Poured from a 12oz bottle.
Not a lot of aroma, malt forward.
Not a bad ipa, but not be best.
Better fresh and has a nice after taste. But has the potential to be a malt bomb if not consumed fresh. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 18, 2014
Nose is mostly toasty malt with a fairly herbal hop presence. Some light caramel notes. Amber hazy pour nice head some lace. Flavors of toast, someone sweetness, herbal hops some dank bitterness. Balanced but just not assertive in one way or another for me to love it. Not bad though.
