Poured a medium dark orange with white head. The aroma is strictly English ipa. Medium malt base and a medium hop aroma light citrus scent. The flavor is more of the same nice mellow malt and a medium hop flavor not a west coast or east coast ipa but an English ipa.

Can sample at an IPA tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Amber, beige head. Malt, caramel, slightly stale citric hops, a bit of toastiness, sweetish, bitter finish, medium-bodied. Decent kyzr (1591) - Montana, USA - JUN 21, 2017

Can. Thanks, N! Pours a clear medium/dark amber with a sudsy pale tan head that goes away quickly. Weird brown bread and boiled marjoram nose. Watery body with flabby carb. Brown bread and boiled marjoram mid palate. Did this get stale, or was it always like this? Something went wrong with the hopping; the hop notes are even flatter than a simple hop tea.

Minnesota Trip Beer #19. Keg at Scuzzy’s, 5/7/16. Clear copper, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of mild herbal hops. The taste is herbal hops and caramel malts. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness. GrandAveTom (1) - - AUG 9, 2016 does not count
I always thought Surlys Furious was the best until I had Fulton Sweet Child of Vine, (on tap).It blew Surly’s away. Every beer they produce is top notch. And they bottle it (not can’s). Highly recommended on tap, but bottled is pretty darn good as well. Carlisle (781) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 6, 2016
Draft. Pours bronze with thick light beige head and lacing. Grapefruit and earthy grass hop aroma. Bread crust malt with earthy hops and grapefruit notes. A maltier IPA; not an especially hoppy IPA.
