3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Head dissipates quickly. Strong rye aroma, lots of hops and booze, with enough caramel sweetness to balance them. Strong bitter aftertaste. Pleasant medium body.
An average saison. The rye accents the already earthiness and mild belgian spices. Amber appearance with a medium body. gopherfan99 (2000) - Minnesota, USA - APR 13, 2017
Tap; pours amber with a tan head; funky aroma with rye bread, pepper, and malt hints; taste is rye bread, malt, pepper, and yeast; dry finish with lingering pepper Drake (14061) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Minnesota Trip Beer #196. Keg at the brewery, 5/12/16. Hazy amber, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malts, rye, citrus. The taste is toasted malts, caramel, cherries, rye. Medium bodied. ACHops (1616) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 11, 2016
On tap @ Fulton. Pours clear medium orange amber with thin white head. Aroma is big rye malt, lightly smoky on the back. Taste is clean toasted light rye malt, dry finish, very light saison yeast notes. Great rye flavor, super drinkable, honestly not quite readily identifiable as a saison. nuplastikk (6416) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 25, 2016
12oz bottle. Thick, unfiltered orange-brown body. Creamy thin, glass lacing off-white head. Pleasant mouthfeel. Caramel tones of top of a clean, well made US Saison. Pretty enjoyable merging of flavors, the rye sort of mellows out the Saison yeast. Well made.

355ml bottle. This one is weird it tastes like grapefruit pith and I’m not sure where that is coming form, bitter and pithy. mjmoen (584) - - JUN 26, 2016
B-. Pours a clear amber color with white head. The flavor is upfront and disappears quickly csaso (2315) - Missouri, USA - APR 4, 2016
Tap - small foamy head, medium copper color, fairly balanced aroma and flavor with moderate malt backbone and mild earthy hops, spicy (in a little different way) - can't tell if it's from the malt or the yeast, a little bit of a different saison but ok overall

For the aroma, at first all I got was burnt sugar, toffee, bit of hops; next time around I did get a whiff of the saison musty funk. Flavor wasn’t bad with a rye fruity Saison stylishness. Some off notes in the finish tho. Travlr (25828) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 7, 2015
Draft. Hazy golden yellow color. Aroma of lightly spiced bread dough. Taste has funky spice. Decent.
