The Lonely Blonde wears a delicate fragrance of Czech Saaz hops, and flaunts German Pilsner, Crystal 10, and White Wheat malt, which contribute medium-light body, fair complexion, and a pleasantly lacy white head. Crisp carbonation slinks the Lonely Blonde quickly away, and you’re left with nothing but a slight lingering sweetness as you contemplate how The Lonely Blonde can be beautiful on so many levels.

Obfuscate (593) - Minneapolis, - MAR 20, 2015
An easy drinking blonde ale from Fulton. Very session able worth a shot if you like the style.

This was on tap and poured into a mug. The appearance was a nice looking hazy yellow color with a slight transparency about it. Faded catchy looking slim white head dissipated within about thirty seconds leaving a light lacing roaming around the glass nicely. The smell had a slight grassy sweet citrus to slight pine along with a little bit of orange as well. The taste pretty much copied the aroma. A light orange aftertaste arranged itself sweetly on my tongue. It lead to a dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. A light carbonation surrounds my tongue nicely. Overall, I say this was a pretty good American Blonde ale.

Pours yellow with a light white head. Smells of light hop, moderate malt and fruity sweetness. Taste is light bitter, modest malt flavor and faint sweetness. Basic blonde, better than some other locals.

Bottle (trade with non Rate Beer Member); pours hazy gold with a white head; aroma is yeast and fruits; taste is fruits, yeast, and malt; very light bitterness and mostly dry finish; okay but fairly simple beer

Very light, smooth and easy to drink. This would be great in the summer, however it’s still not my favorite.

edgallow (4376) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 14, 2015
12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste is grain, malts, grass and some citrus.

YigSvartka (304) - Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 13, 2014
Transparent golden yellow. Few bubbles. No head. Atrocious aroma consisting of suppressed malt, grain, sugar, and metal. Not unlike a macro lager. Unimpressed with the taste as well. Smooth, thin, watery. Initial taste is moderate malt and grain, and there is a nice lingering bitterness and hop, but it coalesces with a metallic flavour. The bottle is nice.

Very generic American blonde. At least it has a bit of hop flavor nut its kinda soapy. Not a fan.

asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 15, 2014
[on tap at Duluth Airport] Grainy hay aroma with very faint if any hops. Almost clear dark yellow under a wispy, lacy, white top. Weak flavour of base malt, grain and ethanol and some musty cardboard accent. Medium light body, medium carbonation, slightly sour nut finish.

wilnatp (723) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Tasted at Stanley’s Beer and Bacon Fest - May 17th, 2014 during Art-A-Whirl in Northeast. Notes were a bit light.
