COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With blood orange, lemon and passionfruit, forget what you know about beer and just embrace the sour fruit characters. This hazy and slightly pink beer has a touch of citrus on the nose and a massive attack of sour on the tongue. Brewed for GABS 2016

All the senses came into play here. Slightly pink hue, with mellow citrus hops and then an unexpected sour grapefruit taste, which ended up a long dry finish. Definitely a summer beer

CAN. Pours a peachy colour with lively big head.. Very sour nose, some yeast & a little hint of fruit sweetness.. Soft easy feel, good punch of blood orange that fades to a light sour finish.. Sourced cape cellars

Can. Gold with a white head that unhappily fizzes away. Aroma of damp wheat and citrus laundry powder, minor tropical notes. A mixture of sweet and sour - certainly sourer than suggested by the aroma. Mixed citrus, grain, mild funk, some boiled oranges. No particular finish. OKish.

Pours gold with a rapidly fading head. Nose shows bretty funk, musk sticks and rose. Flavours include a mild acidity, grainy and doughy wheat, rose petals and cardboard.

Draft at Brothers Beer. Clear copper color with a small white head. Aroma is blood orange, lemon, sauvignon blanc, dirt. The flavor has medium sourness, citrus/orange, and an earthy note of dirty diaper. Not sure I love it. Medium bodied, somewhat astringent. Below average.

GABS2016 330ml bottle BB 25/5/2017 Fruity citrus aroma. Poured light hazy straw with decent head. Initial sourness is followed by citrus astringency and thin palate. A good beer for hot summer days.
