Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, - APR 26, 2013
Extremely pale yellow-gold colour with a white head that dissipated in time. A good snort revealed lemongrass, peel and a local favourite - Lemon and Paeroa. In the mouth it is thin with a prickly carbonation with tart favours of the same aroma profiles. It is crisp and refreshing and ideally a summer quaffer... sadly, it’s Autumn. Please don’t think for a moment that I didn’t like this beer. It’s just that I am not the target market. There will be customers who rave about it and deservedly so.

Tap at Takanoya. Malty, crackers, light hops. Malty and grain flavor, not much hops. Decent but not really memorable.

Pours gold with a large head. Nose shows spicy hops, slight biscuity malt. Flavours include spicy and grassy hops, some soft light malt.

500ml bottle. Pours very pale with a thick fluffy head. Aroma is lemon, lime, gooseberry and a little wheat. Flavour is citrus, grass and some sweet caramel on the finish. This is a nice citrusy crisp pilsner.

It might just be me. and the hops and the style, but I really do get a plastic aroma from this. Not just related to this beer though, I’ve had it a lot with Pilsener beer I need to think more about that. Daily crisp but not really that exciting. looks great pour is lovely, great head, but not jiggy enough with it

Bottle. Pale gold with a huge white head. Aroma of citrus blossoms (lime, orange) gooseberries, crackers. Over-carbonated. As it warms and gasses out a bit, some hayish malt emerges which balances the interesting hops well after it first seemed just fruity and bitter. The hops walk a line between floral and NZ fruity that makes Kiwi pils such a fine thing.

beer-yum (1836) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 14, 2015
Restrained grassy aroma in a clear golden pour. Nice brew that tends to the traditional (Urquel) dry over the local (Emersons) fruity balance.

Taster at GABS Melbourne 230515. Good pilsener that makes a lot of other pilseners that I have had look very average. Clean and crisp in the mouth.

The head is ok, the body golden. It smells hoppy malty, bit bitter, flowery. The taste is hoppy, bit bitter, bit flowery, malty. OK

Quite a bit of lime on the palate, yet with a bit of an astringent lingering bitterness. For summer day (which unfortunately it is not)
