750ml bottle. Pleasant real red raspberry tones. Has aged some, mellowed out. Smooth and surprisingly mellow. Solid.

750 ml bottle from seeswo - thanks again, Chris! Pours a barely cloudy reddish gold with a thin ring for a head. Notes of raspberry, lemon, flower petals, sour candy, sawdust, and orchard fruits. Light-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a tart, dry, acidic mouthfeel. I can't decide if FFG beers have deceptive complexity or beautiful simplicity. Is it possible to do both at the same time?

Pours a deep red from the bottle with bubbly pink head that leaves light lace. Aroma of big fruity raspberry notes on the front, musty funk in the middle, then a bit of metallic finish. Taste is the funk up front, musty iso-valeric acid notes, big punch of fruit in the middle, acidity that finishes slightly metallic on the back end. Not as good as the other, but still super impressive for an American beer.
