Backlog. Deep orange reddish with a very brief head. Tart raspberries dominating with wet oak, cobweb. Slightly funky. Some citrus lingering with the raspberries. Somewhat dry. neongolden (2257) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2018
(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours a pretty murky orange-red with a pinkish head and a little lace. Notes of fleshy raspberry, earthy oak, cellar, lactic/light acetic acid, soft citrus, twigs, rather light barnyard funk, metallic twang, a bit of sweet jamminess largely traded off with acidity. Medium bodied, touch oily, softly carbonated. Quite good overall but in comparison to the various Bokkereyder framboos variants on offer at the festival it seemed a bit less smooth and more unbalanced. nuplastikk (6673) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 26, 2017
750ml bottle. Pleasant real red raspberry tones. Has aged some, mellowed out. Smooth and surprisingly mellow. Solid. phaleslu (11165) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 22, 2017
750 ml bottle from seeswo - thanks again, Chris! Pours a barely cloudy reddish gold with a thin ring for a head. Notes of raspberry, lemon, flower petals, sour candy, sawdust, and orchard fruits. Light-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a tart, dry, acidic mouthfeel. I can't decide if FFG beers have deceptive complexity or beautiful simplicity. Is it possible to do both at the same time?

Bottle - pours orange gold white head - nose and taste of raspberry, oak, funk and lemon - medium body jbruner (5826) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 9, 2017
Pours a deep red from the bottle with bubbly pink head that leaves light lace. Aroma of big fruity raspberry notes on the front, musty funk in the middle, then a bit of metallic finish. Taste is the funk up front, musty iso-valeric acid notes, big punch of fruit in the middle, acidity that finishes slightly metallic on the back end. Not as good as the other, but still super impressive for an American beer. fonefan (53724) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2017
