Bottle thanks to adnielsen ! Pours a medium golden color with a couple fingers of tight white foam. Lots of fruity esters on the nose with some rustic grain and fresh apricots. The palate follows with some honeyed sweetness rounding out the field grain backbone. Nice balanced flavors of apricot a touch of green apple tartness and a crisp aggressively carbonated mouthfeel. Tasty and clean. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Bottle thanks to Aaron. Shared @ Bobby’s house. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Aromas of apricot, toast, bread, and grass. A bit sugary, some dough, and a light tartness. Flavor is quite sweet. Very apricot forward. Mild fruity tartness, some grass, bread, and caramel. Light dough and yeast, too. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 24, 2013
750mL thanks to brokensail. Pours a full haze peach, good yellow rocky foam. Nose is cleaner in profile yeast wise than other Funkwerks offerings. Bright nectar fruit, still estery. Taste is mildly tangy, soft nectar fruit. Solid. brystmar (1314) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Cloudy, golden hue sprouts active white head and foamy lace. Aroma of melted plastic reminds me of my last a Funkwerks beer. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Tastes like carbonation and tropically infused malts. Minimal funkiness; more sweet and fruity than anything. Again, this assumes you can even taste anything over the excessive carbonation.
Plasticky aroma & over-carbonation seem to be a theme of the FW beers, which doesn't bode well for them.
(750ml bottle) cloudy apricot color, frothy off white head, nose of apricot, light plastic wrap. Taste of apricot, very dry, too attenuated?, Belgian yeast. Dry, carbonated palate finish.

At Thomas. Aroma is harsh moldy hops, some metal, little apricot. Taste is more of the same, not very smooth or tasty. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 16, 2013
Bottle. Thanks to adnielsen for sending. Pours a hazy orange with white head. Fruity, apricot, sweet bread aromas. Sweet, apricot, orange, fruity flavors. Alright. arminjewell (9636) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of white fruit, peach, nice apricot jam notes into a mix of grass, slight vanilla into biscuit, bread, hints of yeast and earth. Taste falls a bit flat, very slight apricot but pretty hidden, some grassy, sweet vanilla, honey, and biscuit notes go into some yeast, spice, finishing fairly bitter, slightly sweet. olr1984 (1500) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 27, 2013
750 ml bottle from the brewpub. Pours a bight hazy orange with a large white head. Funky yeast taste with slight fruit taste. Great beer. Lots of carbonation. DoublEE (782) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - OCT 17, 2013
Notes of orange, apricot, zest, and a touch of banana all present as well. The taste starts with some spicy notes of Belgian yeast followed by increasingly fruity notes. The finish is dry which moderates the fruit a bit. Mouthfeel is medium with spritzy carbonation. Overall, a bit sweet and fruity for a saison but refreshing at the same time.
