The pour is a nice golden color with a tall white head. Opens up with a light floral aroma followed by lots of fruits. Plenty of banana, pear, and apple with a a hint of peach. Hints of spice and a light funkiness along with plenty of yeast. Bready malt serves as a clean base. The flavor is crisp and rather dry. Bread malt flavors accompanied by an array of sweet fruits such as pear, sweet apple, peach, and apricot with just a hint of banana. Light citrus and spice qualities in the background. Bottle. Pours hazy to lightly cloudy orange with a large, frothy (thick) white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is bright floral and grassy hops, lively fruity esters (pear, apricot, peach) with straw and meal malt. Some barnyard and horse blanket notes late. Flavor is lively fresh hops, medium-light bitterness, tropical fruity esters, malt backbone with earthy and barnyard yeast and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. deyholla (11759) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 16, 2012
Bottle thanks to Scott! Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light grain note with some earthy funk and cereal. Flavor begins with light grains backed by light funk and light fruit with a nice dry finish. cubs (10639) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Bottle @ home. Admins, I added this as a belgian ale but feel free to adjust the style as you see fit. Cloudy, yellow-orange appearance with a fluffy white head. Pretty potent fruity (pear, apple, citrus fruits), spicy, peppery, belgian yeasty, sweet malty aroma. Spicy, peppery yeasty, grapefruit, citrus hoppy, sweet, a touch toasty malty, rich fruity flavor. This doesn’t necessarily taste flawed, but it is the second straight disappointing bottle offering from these guys.

Taste is a mix of sweet pear and peach, hints of grass and spice, sweet biscuity bread finishes fairly sweet. Not bad. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 16, 2012
draft. yeast-covered, muddled, quiet nose with mildly sweet honey cracker malt aromatics. mild touches of candied / gelatin orange-scented hops and starchy grass are present. has a fairly bland and plain flavor turning slightly sour and chalky late with mild toast and butter notes. dull orange pith and astringent grass mixed with damp dishrag and a watery body. 750 shared by DeyHolla. Unfiltered golden-tan. 750ml bottle. Steady, creamy off-white head. Lemony sour, but not on a Belgian level. Kind of sub par for the style, Lots of unfermented sugars. Golden Ale, a little spiked, not so memorable. OK. notalush (5883) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Cloudy golden pour, with a frothy, lasting head - resembles a Hefeweizen - subtle but pleasant and complex nose of peppery and tropical hop character, moderate spices (sage, white pepper, thyme), a bit of pineapple - soft but full carbonation - light to medium bodied - flavor is moderately sweet up front, followed by mildly tangy citrus, melon rind - dries out through the middle, bringing fairly strong peppery phenols complimented fairly well by the single hop, adding even more of a spiciness - finish is dry, with lasting spiciness - a little thin/watery in the finish - needs to retain it’s body/firmness throughout, so it kind of falls apart in the end, but still fairly enjoyable.
